Skin care is necessary to have healthy skin. Based on our skin type skin care is different. Nowadays, skincare products have harsh chemicals on them. These chemicals break our skin barrier and make the skin more susceptible to issues like pimples, redness, blemishes and using natural products makes our skin healthier without any side effects.

Natural ingredients work as skin food. These are easy to use and are available. Here is a 6-step natural skin care routine provided for you.

Cleansing

Any skin care routine must start with cleansing. You must choose your cleanser based on your skin type. Natural cleansers like honey, milk, yogurt, coconut oil are used for the facewash.

If you have makeup on, then use coconut oil to get rid of them. Put 3-4 drops of coconut oil on your palm and gently rub on the places that have makeup. This will break down the makeup and it will be easier to clean. After that if you have dry skin use milk or yoghurt to wash your face. And if your skin is oily then use honey to wash off excess oil.

Exfoliation

After double cleansing you must exfoliate your skin. Exfoliation helps to remove dirt, buildup on our skin. It brings the inner glow by removing dead skin cells. Chemical exfoliation can peel off our skin layer which makes it sensitive.

Natural exfoliants like coffee and sugar really help us. Sugar with lemon works as exfoliation agent that is excellent for more intense exfoliation. Coffee scrub helps to stimulate circulation and tightens skin.

Remember, overdoing exfoliation can lead to severe side effects. Try exfoliating two times a week and not more than 30 seconds. Wash it off with lukewarm water and pat it dry.

Natural Toner

Toning helps to balance out your skin pH. After exfoliation if there is any residual dirt then toning will help to remove that. A natural toner can be an excellent choice as it will not show any side effects.

Rose water is a great toner. It is natural, available, there are no harsh chemicals. It hydrates the skin and soothes it. Another toner is apple cider vinegar. It helps to balance the pH; it has antimicrobial properties that work against bacterial pimples.

Use 2-3 drops of toner on a cotton ball and apply it on a dab dab motion. If you are using apple cider vinegar, remember to dilute it before using.

Natural Serums

For example, if you want to brighten your skin then use vitamin C serum. If you want to give your skin-deep hydration, use Hyaluronic Acid. Lastly if you have acne prone skin use Tea Tree Oil. Use a few drops on your face and pat it to the skin.

Moisturizer

Moisturizer is used to lock all the nutrients that you took through previous steps. It helps our skin to stay hydrated throughout the day. If your skin is not hydrated it may produce oil and give you an oily look.
